My Poor Clutch Diagnosis
Has anyone else noticed its impossible to find any good places to work on the 03/04 Termies??? I just had a mechanic at the Ford dealership in Daytona tell me I needed a new clutch. The kicker is he concluded all this by simply sitting in the car and pushing in on the clutch. He figured since it was so stiff I better replace my clutch quick! He never even took it for a drive.
I'm sorry, I could easily be wrong since I'm not a wiz when it comes to transmission/clutch issues but isn't this asinine??? I mean, every T-56 cobra I've been in is stiff and I would think a test drive would be necessary to determine something like this.
Oh and they tried to charge me $50 for their extensive diagnosis...that sure as hell didnt happen.

RE: My Poor Clutch Diagnosis
If your clutch is stiff thats GOOD.
It means the springs on the clutchplate are stiffer which means less slipping and more pressure on your clutch plate, for better contact and more accurate shifts.
My clutch is stiff as hell, i love it that way.
