Default repainting

does the value of a cobra svt decline in anyway if it has been repainted, especially if its not a stock ford color??

It would certainly loose some of it's "collectors" appeal... but I mean seriously did you buy the car to have a fun ride or to collect it?

you have a point there. but im looking long term in case i have to sell and then find out that it depreciated ten times more that it normally would have had it been stock.

okay, the original car was yellow, it was repainted blue. still any difference?

the funny thing is they only made 312 yellow ones anyway in 2001.

they made 163 blue ones so i guess not much difference.

I think it'll make it a lot more unique, which is always a good thing, especially with a cobra.

Just make sure you get a good paint job, and not a ****ty Maaco one that might chip or look cheap. I don't think someone would care too much, let alone even notice if it's a good job.

yep, make sure you get an A+ job, unless you already have it repainted, then yur screwed if it's bad!
