NGK plug ?

96 Cobra, 93 oct., tuned running tr6' plugs......getting slight pinging under light load/ part throttle bett 2-3k rpm, will another step colder solve this problem? TR7? Need Part #

You may just need to regap them. I run them on my car and have no problems.

BR7 are the next step colder.

Soulds like some tip in detonation. You need to pull a little timing in the lower RPM range.

yeah sounds like a bad tune more than bad plugs to me.
got too much timing in there. fix it before you fry a piston!
