Gettin my new cobra in a few days
Hey all....
got a black/black 03 with 967 miles on it coming to me. Traded my 07 GT and some cash for it. It was kept in a climate/humidity controllled enviornment. Found it on ebaymotors....went down to NC to see it...its immaculate. Anything I can do right from when I get it to make it faster? Rip of the stock airbox and put a clamp-on filter?

Nice, where in NC did you go to look at it? And as for mods, most mods will respond well thanks the the forced induction...but i'll leave the engine mod list to the termi guys. One thing you really might want to look into though is an IRS brace and differential bushings, this will help with the wheel hop.

the best bang for the buck, is to pulley swap, as far as just doing a clamp on filter, thats up to you, might not do too much, i think you'll be datisfied with the power of the car stock for long enough to order pulley and a real intake though. it's got a little mor in the tank than your old gt.

you shouldn't need to change the maf size for a while, i just used a mafia to extend the range of mine, you will need a tuner if you do the pulley swap, and may as well do an intake too, the stock one is just ugly.
