through out bearing

Default through out bearing

Need some help I have a sqeal like a belt rubbing but when i step on the clutch it stops, question is there any adjustment o0nj the the bearing or do I need to replace the clutch, pressure plate, flywheel and bearing to stop this. any and ALL help is greatly appriciated.

Nope no adjustments and if its squeeling it is time to think of replacing the setup. But you maybe luck and get away with just the bearing but if it was me I would do everything.

Get a freeplay kit from ldc chicago. The squealing is the tob riding on the pressure plate. That will make it stop squealing and you could also get a firewall adjuster and quadrant.

IMO it would be best to replace the entire setup excluding the fly wheel if its in good enough shape to be resurfaced if not I would replace that as well.

yea thats what I think, it's only got 42K on it might try the freeplay kit first. hey thanks for all the help

The kit is only 16.95, its a cheap fix. Just because your clutch is chirping doesnt mean its bad.
