What is an 03 Cobra Terminator??

12s were fast enough to discontinue the f-bodies.

Your Cobra's did not put the final nail in the F-body coffin. A labor dispute with the Canadian plant that was making them is what it was really about, but of course nobody here would dare admit that. Go on thinking that the Mustangs sales killed the f-body if it makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside.
It is. You're right.
Besides the Terminator came out after the decision to discontinue the Fbody was made anyhow.
However, the V6 Mustang was outselling the fbodies by a healthy margin - but that obviously wasn't the reason GM discontinued the Fbody twins.
-however, I still fail to see a car (stock) faster then the 03/04 Cobra under 50k. The C5 Corvette has the biggest chance, and its still (while not much) a bit slower. For anyone to say a 2003/2004 Cobra isn't fast just needs a reality check imo.

Talk about one HELL of an understatement.
I may be ignorant, but at least I'm happy [8D]
But in reference to his statment; I am not sure how a car that was released in 2002 is responsible for ending a model that's last year was releases in 2001.

Not only stopped production in 2001, but everyone knew for a couple of years before they stopped also... maybe the head of GM had a premonition and stopped production to avoid embarrasment :-)
i love the gm guys on the site, haha...

I'm not getting uppity, just stating a fact. Plus I think SOME of you guys say some pretty silly things and one of them is always bringing up the fact that f bodies are no longer in production. So what, lots of great cars are not being made anymore, but that does not mean that they were not good cars. It seems that latley whenever there is a Mustang vs. Fbody conversation, the Stang guys either say "well you car is ugly" (which is of course nothing more than an opinion) or "well fbodies are no longer being made". Hinestly is that the best some of you guys can come up with?
JD I am dissapointed in you - you didn't bring up the 10 bolt, lol - that's another normal comeback...
Personally... I didn't get a LS1 T/A because of the interior... and that's coming from a Mustang owner... [>:]... but like you said - that's a matter of opinion...
