odmitor not working

I pretty new to this site, but shotout to everyone.The odmitor on my1997 cobra stop working. Does anyone know what the problem could be and if it has anything to do with the ABS?

Yes, it still works, but the trip odomitor does not work either, and my ABS light is on.

Try to test your speed sensors.

That could end up being a good thing. You drive it 30,000 miles and collect zero miles, get it fixed and sell the car as a low milage car. JK

I don't see how that could be affected by the ABS. The tires are still spinning so the car should be collecting miles with or without the ABS working.

I took it to a buddy of mine and he told me since the sensors are conected to the wheels and that the ABS controls those sensors that the ABS module would be bad. How would i check the sensors?

Well in my dads 98 ford taurus. lol I know a taurus. He turned up the music to loud when I had my subs hooked up and blew a fuse. Everything in the gauge cluster worked except the odometer. So start checking your fuses. as soon as I replaced the fuse everything started to work. As far as the ABS light I would have no idea. Maybe your friend is right about the sensor. But if I were you start checking your fuses cause that could be a cheap easy fix if thats all that it is.

Thanksfor the tips and i will try to find a blown fuse, and i hope thats the problem.
