Default RE: How "lasting" is the 03/04 Cobra Market?

Igot a late production 04 black coupe, with black interior, chrome wheels, I am the first and only buyer, it has 11,300 miles (has less than that), its an excellent conditions for being store in the garage, clean title, and SVT certificate documenting quaklty assurance included.

Update: I just checked and service warranty is actually a premium extended warranty until 2010 or 48000 miles.

Greg (RET) has done two tunes (stock in 2004 and recently a 2.76 with AFCO race HE). Price includes: sct flasher, upr intake, magnaflow cat back and catted x pipe, pro shifter, kenny's hard launch kit with alum bushings, HR race springs and a pair of AFS 10.5 wheels included in the sale. No tires though.

stock intake, the rest of the isos, cobra pulley gaurd, brand new 6 speed eom sfiter ball, new IRS busings and MM bushing tool and h pipe is also included.

I will also throw in an Even Flow cooling mod and new billetflow 3.65 for open track (to avoid heat soak) and warranty/service waranty work.

One other thing, it has never been dragged or open tracked. WOT to me is 80-90-100, and maybe 120 mph on the freeway, but thats rare. So much traffic in Socal California.

Why Im selling: No time to use and family planning this year. If it does not sell, I will be at Williow Street event in Dece 2007 adn finally doing what I bought the car for: road race!

Price is 30 k, but reason offfers are accepted.323-804-8193 robert

No way anyone should pay $30K for an 03/'04 Cobra. Unless maybe it has 10 miles on the odometer. LOL! Seriously, that is just plain unrealistic. One or two dealer might try to rape a buyer at that price, but the highest price you should really see for a Terminator inexcellent condition (with a few of mods) and very low miles would be around $27-28K. Average is more like $26K. Cars with higher mileage and those known to be driven hard (declared mods or raced) fetch lower money.

Be aware that when you are looking for a Terminator it is going to be darn near impossible to know whether or not the car has been demodded or been driven hard. That is the beauty of spending time in these forums. You get to know the people and their cars. If you buy from a known person you better know what you're buying. There are ways to check for mods and abuse, but the seller can be very careful to cover the modification tracks. So you should specifically ASK if the car was modded or raced. As a matter of fact, get it in writing. Because the buyer will be less likely to lie if they have to put it in writing. Don't expect most to volunteer the info.

To help you out, here is a link to some useful info when buying a used '03/'04 Cobra. http://www.stangshiftergaskets.com/2...m#_Toc35092330
