Hey Guys,

I have an '01 Cobra, and i was wondering what internals my motor has. I know the Crank is forged and counterweighted, but what about the pistons and rods? from what i have read, some have the teksid block and some have the WAP block, is this true or are they all WAP? How can i tell?

also, whats the most HP i can safely on this motor? i'm thinking of going with a kenne bell next year.

 

I believe that after 99 no teskid blocks were used. In fact in 99 I believe the switch was made; my block is not a teskid [:@]. Anyways just take a look it should actually say on there.

 

double post, but the 99/01 cobras aren't much better than the GT/mach 1 for making big power on stock internals. 400/450rwhp max.

 

there all cast baby... and i wouldn't push past 450 the saddest day of your life will be watching your rods bounce down a dragstrip leaving an oil trail...
