X-pipe and 40series
Is anyone running an xpipe catted or not, along with 40series flowmasters that are dumped right after the mufflers?
I have an h-pipe and 40 series on my 67 Chev with a 350 it has a nice deep tone that sets off car alarms, but its gets annoying on the freeway.

I've got a 99' cobra with a bbk catted x-pipe that has a magnaflow catback with flow 40s welded in. It is not dumped but it sure does drone on the highway and it also sets off car alarms. I park in a parking garage for my job so I set off about 3 or 4 car alarms when I enter or leave the garage lol.
Yeah i have a catted x pipe on mine and 40 series. And on the freeway I can barely hear it, even around town i mostly hear the s/c. But people say its loud when im on it and pass them, im like them loud but usually the louder they are the more raspy they become, and obnoxious sounding isnt what im looking for. Just a little louder and more deep.
Im not sure what kind of xpipe it is but its welded together just like this one is
