Default 96 cobra exhaust help desperately needed!

ok guys. i just purchased an o/r h-pipe for my cobra. the car has the stock mid pipe which apparantly never has been touched. anyway, the header flange nuts are kicking my butt!!! the drivers side came off practically effortless. the passenger side are being extremely difficult!! ive already broken one 1/2 inch drive unversal joint and two 3/8 extentions. i have yet to try to use an impact. ive also sprayed alot of PB Blaster on both nuts, which didnt help at all. are there any special tricks to getting these things off easier??? thanks in advance!!

matt

here is your maaster plan... first off you prob got them off already... but if you didn't just go to home depot get their most expensive and highest tq air impact gun. Buy one can of wd 40 soak the bolts over night with just bout the whole can. Wake up charge the compressor have at it with the impact and they will break no prob and turn in the impact for money and say you dont need it any more lol... or keep it?

well, i got the new H-pipe on there. took like 3 hours to get the stock one out and 45 mins to put the new one in! lol. the thing is LOUD!! i know i should post this question in the pipes section, but what muffler could i get to cut down the rasp and noise? i have some kind of flowmasters on it now. i did just notice today that it has the factory 2 1/4 cat back as well. would a 2.5 cat back by itself cut the noise down? what quieter mufflers would you guys suggest? cops are ****** here about loud exhaust, except for the big loud *** redneck trucks of course.
