Default Turbo setup

I want to go with Twin turbos for my next move. I have pretty much returned my car to stock other than full exhaust, pulley and programmer. Where should I go to do this prefferably on the west coast. I have a local reputable turbo shop but they have never done a 03-04 cobra before and they really did not seem interested?? Thanks for your help.... One other thing I drive the car on the street and occasionally run it at pacific raceways road course and Portland international road course. No drag racing.

A Kenne Bell would be my choice, it will make more power than you could ever use on the street, and will be much more reliable than a twin turbo kit. The Kenne Bell swap is easy and straightforward. A swap to a turbo kit is much more complicated (and pricey) and remember your cobra was engineered for a supercharger. Not to say that a turbo is unreliable, but there are just so many things that could go wrong, not to mention just getting it tuned right (which is not an issue with the KB blower). I LOVE turbos and would love to put one on my Cobra. They make more power with less boost, not to mention the cool sounds, but they can prove to be a nightmare. Even though I love them, I, personally, would go with the KB and 15-20psi. Plus, the KB will ALWAYS make more low end power and torque, and face it, in a daily driver the 2000-4000rpm range is where you live 99% of the time. In that range, the KB will be better.

Oh yeah, and on a road course, the blower's smoother, more linear power delivery would be much better. If you simply must go the turbo way, I would buy a kit from either Hellion or HP motorsports. Im sure they could recommend a reputable installer. DONT go with a custom kit, especially if the shop has never done one on a Cobra.
