Would 04 SVT tail lights fit on an 01 SVT? Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

 

yeah, but y would u wanna do that?? i LOVE the amber signals on the 01 cobras and i would never change it. stands out nicely and adds character IMO.

 

The original owner of mine installed crappy aftermarket tail lights, I would like to switch them back. Didn't realize that 04 didn't have the amber turn signal. Thanks for the reply.

 

ur very welcome. the 99 and 01 cobras are the only mustangs that come with amber signals in the tailights, except for the mustangs that ford exports to other countries.

 

Ah well, then I will have to look for a '99 or '01 that is being parted out. For wants approx $450 per side new, too rich for my blood when it is a cosmetic issue. The ones I have work, they're just fugly.

 

ick! the amber lensed tailights are going to be more expensive, but $450 per side is rediculous. go to the New Edge forum of www.svtperformance.com There is a vendor that has a thread stickied in there, he sells OEM Ford parts 10% over cost. Check with them if you cant find a wrecked car to get them off of.

 

and if you want the blackout look you can get some tinted layovers from stangmods.com for $65.00 and I just purchased some and they are bad as hell! I think that it is better than buying aftermarket tail lights!
