Default how about the turbohorsepower kit??

turbohorsepower.com what do you all think about this kit... its really interested me, and i think it looks a lot better than the HP twin turbo kit. 1000 hp on pump gas??? and thats on a stock termy 4.6l!!

Lately, i've really been pondering whether i want to switch to turbo...............
Exactly how bad is turbo lag with the twin turbo setups.... because i think i would be getting a twin 67mm.... and this is on a 5.1Lstroker 4v with massaged heads and cams.....

well the lag on a good kit - single or twin is almost non existant... those 1000 on stock motor stories are BS .. I know the company that your refering to who made that video - they blew up 4 motors geting one to do that, and that one blew up going down the street off the dyno that same day... so i wouldnt do that. but if your doing a built 4v with better internals then yeah - it will do it. I personally like the single turbo route, you would be better off going to a turbo shop and geting a variable geometry single turbo - this has basically 0 lagg, most people do twin 47-57mm those will be very low lag if any - probly full boost by 2600-2800 rpms the twin 67 will lag alot, thats too big for twins - i dont even think that will fit - you could run a single 67 and have instant boost and put down 1000 rwhp- thats what I would do

well depends on your definition of 1000, i count around 900 or so as "1000", but techincally i suppose your right and 76mm would be a better option for crazy *** power, however a 67 would be lower lag... but im sure that twin 67's are too big

That kit looks very well fabricated, but i trust the hp Turbo kit more seen it on a bunch of cars, and both of the guys that i know have not had any problems with it.

hp turbo kits seem to have oil drain back problems causing some oil to leak into the exhaust and come out as smoke......
