Hey guys one thing i love about car is being able to feel the speed, im really into getting a cobra, from the inside of the ride, do you feel the speed or not really. I have an 04 annviersary mustang gt,when i WOT i feel the kick but i wanna feel that sick pull, does cobra have that?

 

yea they do, if you nail it in 2nd or 3rd you feel your stomach hit your throat!!!!! and the whine kinda adds to the mix!

 

Haha, yeah, you feel it just a little bit. Your car has 260 HP, the Cobra has 390, plus the S/C to kick in the power quicker. Hell, it doesn't take much to double the RWHP that your car has.

 

honestly, i know im going to get a lot of crap for saying this, but a lil turbo car "feels" faster than an 04 cobra.... the instant boost of the roots supercharger creates a neck snapping effect, but it doesn't continue to feel like its pulling like a centri supercharger or a turbo would....

 

I don't see too many people who will give you crap about it. It's really just a matter of opinion. Different options (roots, centri, turbo) all make power in their own ways and at their own times, so it's up to the individual what their favorite is. In the end we're all just horsepower junkies right?

 

It is definitely a matter of opinion, IMO, the cobra is the like nothing I've ever driven before. You definitely feel the power as soon as you hit the accelerator. The torque throws you back on your seat and the whine is like something out of hell. Whatever the opinion is about turbo's, centri's or roots, you WILL NOT be disappointed witha cobra.

Nope, no crap. But have you ever been in a twin screw blown Cobra? Mine pulls and pulls and pulls....

 

yes i have.....MINE!! lol, but honestly, even though i know my whipple set up is a lot faster than the procharger, the procharger had more of that "sucking" effect from the gradual boost curve...
