i took the car into the shop and they told me that i needed a new EGR sensor and a new idle sensor as well. this is because the car wouldn't start, but it would quickly die following the start.

is this something that i can do myself, or do i need to take it to the shop and be charged $500 for labor for just installing a $100 part. i think i can do it myself. are there a few pointers that you can tell me? does anyone have a helms manual or a link to where i can look up the steps for the fix?
