Default Cobra stang

well i drive an 04 auto mustang gt, and off roll my car isnt anyting special, from what i hear mustang gt'sare better off launch then roll, there actually not great of roll, but how about the cobra? is it about the same thing, as in better off launch then roll. Cause many people claim that a mazda speed3 (the 4 door hatch) can keep up or beat a s197 gt mustang off roll, but not of launch. I duno thats kind of embarssing. so Hows the cobra off roll?

Haha, I don't know about comparisons but in my car if I floor it anywhere in first, it will absolutely spin the wheels like crazy without question, and probably most of second as well. Throwing the car into about 15 pounds of boost certainly helps it off a roll. If you can get traction, no little mazdaspeed is going to beat you.

terminators are deadly from a dig, and even deadlier froma roll!! Because of the positive displacement superchargers, these cars have incredible low end torque. If u have a terminator, and u are racing a car that is "faster" than u, there is a good chance, that from a roll, u will gain a car length on him right from the start, then they would have to play catch up and pass u, if they are faster.... OR u can just slam ur brakes right before they pass u, so u can say u beat them!! (ricer style!!!) hahahaha!!! because u were ahead before u braked!!! hehehe

AJ03SVT, hows the "pull" in your car, when you punch it, do you really feel the speed? or is it faster then it feels

I took my dad for a ride yesterday and he after he got out he said "It's a damn good thing I had my head on the head rest already when you hit the gas".

In first, you just aren't getting traction. In second, you can still spin the wheels VERY easily if you're not careful, but if you can stick on the border of breaking them loose, it's like a damn rocket ship. Second gear is incredible, it accelerates faster than you can realize what's going on. After that the gears get longer so they don't pull as hard, but you'll still pull very hard as long as you're in your powerband.

I'm coming from a ~190 RWHP 97 GT though, the Cobra is ~450 RWHP I'd guess by the mods on it. The power of the Cobra just cannot be compared to the GT. I think my Cobra pulls almost as hard in 6th gear as my GT does in 2nd and 3rd, haha.
