I have seen a few kits to add a functional Shaker style hood scoop on the GT, but no mention of the Cobra. I have a 99 Cobra convertible and have considered the shaker intake to get cold air into the engine. I know the hood as well as the intake are different between the GT and the Cobra. Is there a Cobra kit available or can the GT kit be made to work? The car had a WMS CAI on it when I bought it that pulls cold air from the fender, but I kind of prefer to old school shaker setup.

get a mach one shaker hood and ram air kit, and get a terminator front bumper!!! that would be sick!

ur front bumper will not fit the hood the right way.

I am still fairly new to the Cobras in general so let me see if I got this right. The 03-04 Cobra is what is referred to as the Terminator? So you are saying I would need the 03-04 front bumper to properly align with the Mach1 hood. Thanks I will look into it.

either that or get a mach one front bumper, but that would make ur car look like a mach instead of a cobra, lol!

I do prefer the 03-04 Cobra bumper to the Mach1. I actually like the 99 Cobra bumper as well. I was hoping to not have to replace it. I am now trying to figure out the total cost for the hood, complete shaker and front bumper online.
