The lower pulley doesn't help peak hp/tq.. but it brings the power curve up more...

If I had the choice in my pulleys, i'd probably do something like a 2.93/4# lower... with the port... that gets some good power...

I think the 2.81 is a good pulley choice... 2.76 is more prone to belt slip, whereas your really not losing much boost with the .05 difference... I don't have ANY idlers and i really dont slip...

if you go to a port i also reccomend a 2.93 4# combo. i made 522/498 with that. but for just a pulley i had a 2.76 with no belt slip issues whatsoever.

awesome! thanks for all of the advise. I bought this car just over a week ago, it was a switch from a 03 powerstroke diesel, so its a little change lol. so im finding out everything i can about this car. thanks once again
