RE: SHELBY GT-500
i love ur dad lol the GT-500 is the next car that i want, its between that and a new C6 but you cant push more than 650Hp on a stock block so i rather get the GT-500 slap a whipple 3.4 S/c on it and run 10's and trap 130's all day for under 50K with the price of the car included

and i dont think you'll be making much more than 650 on a gt500 with a whipple....even if you make it into the low 700's i bet a vette pushing 650 would still run you...
all that being said, i'm interested as well about the limits of the new shelbys. I saw a magazine about an 07 with a Kenne Bell upgrade pushing 800s on the stock block...pretty retarded numbers if you ask me...

dont mean to offend ya....but have you ever been in a car that makes that much power to the wheels? especially a vette being lighter and more aerodynamic than the bricks our stangs are....650rwhp is retarded haha

RE: SHELBY GT-500
ive read that the internals of the gt500 are not as strong as the termi's... something like 650hp on the shelby is like 800 on the termi's... actually i read that in here on the forums plus ive heard from some guys who work at ford. they say sure you can run 800hp on the shelby but they are on some serious borrowed time.
