Has anyone here done the swap to a solid rear? If so how much $$$$ did it run you?

Alot of people just trade there IRS for a solid set up, and even come out with a little cash.

i am hopeing i can bag enough money for one this winter.

everything new, fully built(31 spline) with 4.30's + labor = $2,700.

now you figure, i dotn know what do irs's go for 500-750. so maby 2 g's.

yes, you could swap with a gt but it wouldent be fully built.

Just did mine and spent around $3300 and got 500 for my IRS which had a broken cover. If i were to do it again I would have just paid the shop the 3k they wanted.....

i am going to do a 9" and i was told about 2500 maybe a little more. IRS ussually gor for around 900-1000, i have seen some get even more.

i got a complete housing free, got it welded,31 spline mosers,new trac lock,3.73s for under a grand.
i got mega bite upper and lowers 550 bucks mac back free.
