i would not do a mail order tune ever. my opinion. i have seen the same cars with the same basic mods do totally different things. my car was runnig alot more timing than most in my area and had no detionation problems where others would have problems with detonation at a much lower amout of timing. no 2 cars are identical esspecially with the hand built motors. I think all would agre the only way to get the best tune fir each car is to strap it on the dyno and tune speciffically for that car. i don't doubt that you could do a conservative safe tune for a particular set up but i don't think that you can put together the optimum tune without working with the car in person.
