wats thebest way to get rid of wheel hop on the 03-04 cobra? i already have the stop the hop package from steeda but it still does it a lot.

 

Get a solid axle

I have a 03 cobra vert and and when I switched from street tires to drag radials it pretty much eliminated the hop for me.

 

idk if this a noob queston or not but, what exactly is wheel hop? i have a 02 GT, so maybe its something i don't experience.

 

when the rear wheel cant hook the power to the ground the rear wheels start to hoop


The solid axle will suck for turns???

The best way to get rid of the hoop is to throw money in the rear suspension coil overs or fat tires

 

compared to the IRS in the cobra the solid wont turn for ****.

 

That was one of the first things I was going to say. Nitto's still hop but the BFG's and Mickeys help a lot. Also a set of the QA1 Adjustable rear shocks. Depending on what you do with the car removing the front sway bar also helps.
