Default 99 Cobra oil leak, need help

About a month ago i did an oil change and it was leaking from the oil filter and it turns out the oil filter gasket was bad. anyway my car is leaking oil again and is leaking a lot more oil than before. i checked the dipstick and there was nothing on it. i can't tell where it is leaking from either. i also live in michigan and we got about 15 inches of snow this week and i don't know if i hit something on the oil pan or what. it was really cold out last night it was -7 idk if that made something expand and start leaking.Any help is appreciated thanks.

make sure that when you changed your filter last time, that the rubber gasket did not come off and stick creating a gap for your oil to leak out. (basically u'd have two gaskets).

There is no visible sign of leaking, and yet its eating oil.....

Maybe its burning the oil?

Double check the o-ring, top off the oil, then get on some dry ground with a light and see if you can find the origin

the reason for the first leak was the 2 gaskets stuck on the oil filter. i haven't had the time to look under it yet tho. its definetley not burning oil its leaking it. there is a big oil spot about 2 ft. by 3 ft. in my driveway where it was sitting. i think it leaked about 3 quarts of oil.i know its not the headgasket either cause it would have mixed with the coolant and the coolant in the tank is still green.

1 qt of oil would make a mess of what you described. 3qts is alot!!! I know it takes only 1.5qts to not show up on the dipstick, so maybe that's where your at??? Maybe you put the wrong oil filter on? The seal rings are different even though it will thread on! Or you could have poked a hole in your oil filter. I wouldn't drive it like this. Ohh, it was 22below here in NY with the windchill last night and my digital thermometer says 1degree right now....yikes

well today i put oil in it, pulled it in the garage and let it run for about 5 minutes. didn't leak any oil at all. so i took it for a 10 mile drive and my eyes were glued to the oil pressure gauge the whole time. when i got back checked the oil level and it was the same spot it was when i left. so it's got me clueless why it was leaking.
