Does anyone know how to turn off the governor on my 2004 cobra?

gut a tuner, how fas are you wanting to go. have yo ever hit the govenor? i think they ar at 155 onthese cars.

Yep, just get a tuner. Keep in mind your tire speed ratings tho...

Smartest thing I've heard all day. This is why I won't get DR's to drive on the road! I like to go a little fast sometimes and they just can't hack the high speeds for too long. Only in short bursts. Your tires need to be W rated (168mph), Y rated (186mph) to go past gov. because I think factory puts on Z rated tires. Maybe it's upgraded on 03/04 Cobra's but I would check on that and make sure you have CLEAN tires with no patches. Everytimie I go fast I think obaout the possibility of a tires blowing out because of road condidtions. Hopefully it's never the front or none at all for that matter.
