+1 for coil packs. But you should clean your imrc's if you arent sure how dirty they are.

WELL, CHANGED THE COIL PACKS AND PLUGS DIDN'T HELP. i HAD TO ORDER SOME NEW PLUR WIRES LAST NIGHT FROM ADVANCE AUTO THAT WILL BE HERE THIS MORNING. AFTER WORK I WILL BE PUTTING THEM ON. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO TAKE OUT YOUR IMRC AND HOW HARD IS IT.

If the wires don't fix the problem then its either the fuel filter, fuel pump or fuel pressure regulator.

Gotta take the stut tower brace off if you have one, remove the alternator, drain the fuel rails, unhook all wires that go to the intake including the injectors, drain the coolant out, take that crossover tube off, pull the entire intake out of the car! Yup, it's a long job. Something I'm not looking forward to for my IMRC port matching and cleaning. It's def a 2 day project if you are not familiar with these motors. It's an all day affair if you know what you are doing. Like 5-6hours

what about spraying some carb cleaner into the throttle bodie would that clean it out any. I hope its the wires. If it was the fuel filter or fuel pump, wouldthe sputteringnot get worse at a higher speed? btw thanks for everyones help. It feels like its just cutting out at wot. The car idles perfectly fine and when you rev it up its perfectly normal.

spraying carb cleaner or seafoam into your intake would clean up a little but not as good as takinging it apart and fuel injector cleaner wont help because the secondary ports dont really get sprayed by the fuel injector.Remember a clean engine is a happy engine It really isnt that hard it will take a lot of carb cleaner though 6 bottles to be exact, and a tooth brush or two.(Im not joking )
