RE: iat sensor temps?
You can do datalogging sessions on your xcal2 and then download it on the computer, but I've only done it with the laptop on the pass. seat. My IAT temps are extremey consistent becauseIhave a ram air set-up that I custom made. I just checked one of my logs and the ambient air temp outside was 66degrees. My engine temp was up to 206 at one point and my IAT temps never went above 70degrees. They were mostly at 66-68 degrees.

RE: iat sensor temps?
I have datalogged IAT with my SCT Livewire -- it can datalog without a computer attached, as it has 128MB of internal memory. Then the Livewire can be connected to USB port to download and view the datalogs with the SCT Livelink software when I get home.
(edit, missed what 97targa said about the X2)

RE: iat sensor temps?
what im trying to do is run 24 psi . with out my iat2 reading at the i/c getting to hot . and pull out timing i was going to fab me up a 5 gal ice tank just for this 24 psi pulley , to get it tunes just right for the temp i got .that way i can spin the hell out of it ,without resorting too nitrous. i got a way where i can start the flow of the cold ice water when i want it to come in. would that be enough to keep the iat 2's down to make it work? i dont want to bug my tuner at this time. b4 i do this system.
is the 5 gallon ice tank be enough to keep the temps down for a dyno pull.? if so it should be ok for a 1/4 mile pass right ??
