I am not sure what is going on with the car.. I unplugged the old battery and put a new one in. When i hooked up the new one the lights just started going crazy and their is a beeping sound coming from inside the car.. the remote no longer works either.. the car wont start or do anything the lights just flash.. what is going on and what can i do..
The car is a 1997 cobra with a factory alarm

 

I think you gotta get the remote to work, its an anti-theft setup. when you put in the new battery, just click unlock. maybe someone else can help more though

 

I would either call ford or a alarm place and ask them.
