Default How long does it last???

Looking at a 96 cobra, it has 96,000 miles, but i have a jeep with 47,000 miles to trade, i know thee jeep engine would last over 200,000 miles, but i dont want to get this and have it blow up on me.

is this too many miles, about how much longer will the engine last, it currently has 4.30 gears , but i plan to regear to 3.27 if i get it. He said synthetic oil changed every 3k miles.

will the engine still be strong, at this high miles, and what do they usually go to till they pop.

thanks alot guys

its just one of those things you have to feel out, ive seen them reach 200k.4.30 gears to me sounds like he did some racing. now i would base it on if you think the cars been dogged out or not.

id watch out with the 430's. I have 373's and ive though about switching them back because I dont race the car what so ever and I really could care less about speed. I bought my car because I love red cobras, not because they go fast.
