Rear Defrost light!!!!!

Rear Defrost light!!!!!
I was trying to replace the lights behind my gauges on my 1997 Mustang Cobra. When I got the black trim piece off my light and wire came off for the rear defrost . I cannot find where to put it back in at? Does it go on the piece with the gauges or does it go somewhere on the rear defrost piece that you push to turn the defrost on? I have looked everywhere..please help me..I cannot see any blue and red wire anywhere to splice it too.
