[:'(]when starting my 03 cobra it makes a high pitch sound and smells like it is burning something up. Pressing in the clutch makes the sound more intense ( almost sounds like a pump of some sort going bad)and placing the shifter in neutral makes most of the noise go away. Is there anyway for me to troubleshoot this problem?

 

sounds just like what happened when my TOB went... Does it shake in gear? Mine had this horrible screeching noise and shook like it was having a siezure... the TOB was in pieces...
