Default TR3650 Tranny ( 01 Cobra )

How come when I beat on my car a little, it gets tough to put it into gear.

For example.. If I am cruising down the road than I drop it into a lower gear and start racing someone (getting into high rpms), when I come to a complete stop it is extremely tough to put it into first gear and reverse..

Any tips or answers will help

Never had that problem, might want to change out the clutch quadrant cable. BBK makes one. That helped with my "grinding from reverse to first issue".

I just bought a Steeda Clutch Cable and the Steeda Clutch Quadrant and the firewall adjuster so i'm going to put that on this weekend and i'll let you know how that turns out..

Also, as to what the last guy said about not being able toget his car into gearin high rpm's.. does anybody have any idea of what that could be causing that because I have the same problem??

I had it with my Terminator. It needed to have the clutch quadrant replaced. This doesn't really sound like the sychro problems these crappy trannys have. Sounds more like the clutch quadrant imo...
