Hey guys, posted this in the 4.6, just thought I share it here, my 99 cobra, well the 4.6 32v just died, my timing chain and valves etc broke, so Now im looking to get some overhauling done to it, ANY Ideas on what I should do to get over 400 rwhp would be great, I'd highly preciate the ideas. Ohhh I also have that 03 blower stills itting on my dresser, maybe I could build this motor, forge it out and make heads right to where it fits? possible?

 

If your adding **** loads of HP on a built block, don't forget the IRS could let go. Beef it up too. Then go hunting..

 

Beef up the internals and get all forged stuff. This way, if you decide to blow or turbo your car, you'll be ready for the power.

 

We are going to have it at modular powerhouse by the end of this week, they are gonna tear into it and tell me whats up the motor, but we already know for shure that we are getting heads and cams, My ? I havnt asked them is about me fitting the 03 blower ont here, Im shure the heads are the same as the 03, I mean if the are ported and built right, this way I can bolt the stock 03 intake on, then all I would need is injectors, pulles and the mountings brackets for the altenator an such, But most likely we are upgrading everything int he motor, freshin block up and add some better pistons and crank, forging everything in the motor, this way if I get around to adding the blower the motor will be fine, but ima half to wait till I find a deal for the rest of the stuff I need to do it, cause this is going to empty my pockets....? what would built heads and like stage 3 cams do? hp wize to the wheels?
