Just bought a 99 Cobra Conv., red with black leather. My 1st need is a trailer hitch. I found a Hidden Hitch online but it says it's for 99-2004 Mustangs, EXCEPT the Cobra. Does anybody know of a manufacturer that makes a hitch that will fit the Cobra?

For what it's worth this is my 4th Mustang but the other 3 were all Fox bodies so it's kind of like starting all over again.

what do you plan on towing? isnt the max towing capablility like 1000 pounds?

Hopefully you are only towing a Bike or jet ski's?

Kidding I am not, I need one for a bike rack. I ride road bikes at least 3 days a week and I can use the current rack I have now but it is the universal trunk mount type and I would rather not have it rubbing on the paint. It (the bike) only weighs 15.5 lbs so I think I am safely in under the limit.

Call your local U-Haul dealer, they specialize in all types of trailer hitches, and install them. They did a good job "Franken-engineering" one for my truck that is lifted. I'm sure they have something that will work, or they could rig.
