how do i make my fog lights turn on when i hav just the parking lights on( first switch postion )?

 

I am not familiar with Cobras specifically, but have had this issue with both my '85 GT and current '02. It is just a matter of getting a full time power supply (or at least one that has power when parking lights are on) and supplying foglight switch.

You will be best served to install a relay that is "switched" on when parking lights are on, and run a secondary power wire (proper guage for demand of fogs, of course)and replacing current power wire to foglight switch. You will also find that when the high beams are on, the foglights currently shut off due to D.O.T. regulations. ***HERE*** is a link to my own install. you could also just splice your fog light wires into the parking lamps wires.

 

Your headlight **** can be pulled twice from a standing position... pull it once and make sure your fog lights are turned on in on the console... and it will work.

 

If you were totake foglight power supply from this source and have even the most modest of amperage draw, you will likey blow a fuse or burn out a wire.

I dont know man, I ran mine like that for awhile when I installed my halo projectors. Eventually I just removed the fogs all together, but I had no problems.

 

i forgot to mention my is a 97 and the foglights dont turn on is first position lol
