Paint it silver... I have a silver mustang also that has a cage going in and I dont think they are painted it. Let me know how u go about painting it so I can do the same maybe better with black because I dont want to be the same u know.

How do the kids get in the back. I can't imagine how my 8 and 12 yr old could squeeze back there, lol
Looks great... I would do it black..but either color seems to be a good choice.

Why not powder coat it? It'll be much more durable. Specially if you have children in the rear seats when they climb in their sneakers and bracelets could scratch the paint.
As I am typing this I just realized its already welded in so it would be might difficult to powder coat, but so would paint....
