so what!! why do even concern yourself? you already said ^^^^^ twice, does it bother you? if so just skip over it or are you training to be a moderator?

doesn't bother me if it's over 2 yrs old, someone might bring in some good info about the original topic.

^ calm down killer. No need to be an internet hard ***. I, for one, get really annoyed when ancient threads are unburried.

Comparing way different price points here .
My new car ( GT500 ) has the T6060 . Now's there's a Transmission .
It is designed for a car making way more power . I can honestly say the T45 i had in my old Cobra was fine .

Dude, the t56 transmissions are STOUT! With just upgrading the input shaft, I have had NO problems with my tranny, at my current power level. That's at 785 rwhp.

But you're still comparing a $1100 transmission to a $3000 unit . I would expect no less from a T56 compared to a t45. All i'm saying is the t45's were designed , for a car , making 305 hp from the factory . We are throwing an extra 75% more power at it and expecting it to hold up !!! For a few $$ extra, Astro or Hanlon can upgrade the t45 .

I agree about the t45. Stock, they are pretty much junk and need serious work to handle good power.

My t45 is stock, 145k and takes extreme abuse including track powershifts, 4th gear shifted burnouts on DRs, u name it. Not even as much as a syncro gone. This is at 420 rwhp. Didn't need an upgrade to handle it. Will it blow up? Probably but it has almost a 150k on it so its not like id be dissapointed.
