Headers
Good headers aren't cheap get them coated and your good. Don't waste your money and buy any parts you are gunna replace. If you don't have the money wait and buy quality parts you will be happier in the long run.
I think Bassani(not sure), Mac and Kooks make long tubes for your car i would use one of those, Kooks is prolly your best option imo.
I like x pipes. As far as numbers go i dunno if i have seen "solid" evidence that a h pipes andx pipes are much different. I have seen alot people make claims of extra hp coming out of x pipe set ups though. Sound wise i think the x pipes has a more tinny sound.
I use magnaflow cat back right now with jba headers and mid pipe and i think it sounds pretty sick. Bassani, Borla and Flowmaster are also pretty good options imo.

I would never in my life, EVER, recommend a Flowmaster muffler...
You must be kidding about making your own longtubes, lmao! And I am certain that they will not net the gains that a professionally done Longtube header, will give you. You lack the YEARS of "R&D" that those other companies, such as KOOKS, have.
