Low end power

RE: Low end power
i got 4.10's and gave me awesome low end...4.30's would also be sick but 4.10s or plenty good for me...kenne bell would be a good addition to 3.73 or even 4.10's depending on how big of a kb...

RE: Low end power
On a budget, 4.10's or 4.30's hands down. Underdrives helped the power too on my 01 Cobra too and they're pretty cheap. If you've got the $$$ though then go with forced induction and a set of gears, lol. The power increase will be all over the powerband, not just down low...

I think everyone said exactly what I was thinking. 4.10s o higher and a good blower ought to do ya right. If you want to take the easy way and get nitrous just hit the button down low in the RPMs.

RE: Low end power
ok mfj explained to me 4.10s-4.30s + KB is a bad idea, if you're making enough power in a 1/4 mile you're gonna have to shift to 5th gear... which is not cool.
so if u go kenne bell stick with 3.55s or maybe even 3.73s but it seems dumb to switch gears from 3.55s to 3.73s, just throw a KB on that B!tch

RE: Low end power
It depends on what you want the car for. I'm will soon be installing a 4.56 and later down the road will be adding a turbo. It will be strictly a street car and driven only for enjoyment. If you do care about 1/4 times, then a little more planning is needed to get a good setup, but if you're like me, you just want it to pull hard in all gears and be able to walk it sideways at 80mph.
