no check engine lite. The chip disabled that, was having a CEL for the xpipe.

 

the chip doesnt just completey disable the CEL.... just for certain codes...

 

and i HATE this new forum layout... gay! the only good thing is that it loads a lot faster....

 

Hi I kinda have had the same problem and it came down with it being in the intake. So if you try everything that everyone else said then you might want to take your car in and get the intake looked at. By the way have you checked if the car is throwing any codes out?

 

Cleaned MAF, WOW what a diffrence.
Drove around for 10min
Then let it sit and idel for 5 with no problems.

The IAC could be going bad too. When its bad the coar will not idle unless you keep you foot on the gas pedal.

 

that corrosion isn't to bad, might want to get a new one though. also check your pcv valve,, sometimes that can do it. IS YOUR CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON?? If so what code is it??
