While moving some things in my garage I broke the passenger side rear tail light on my 1996 Cobra. I only broke the a small area on the tail light itself. I did not damage the cover that is painted in body color. I have not removed it yet. When I look on the internet for a replacement, they all come with a black cover that needs to be painted. My question is can I use the body color painted cover that is currently on the car with a new tail light assembly or is the cover and the tail light one piece?

 

2 piece. it can be replaced.
