Default Rear tire rubbing on '01 Cobra

ok just got in my new wheels. and for the rear i have 17x10.5 with 315/35/17 NT555's. i installed the shorter irs subframe bolts and the passenger side seems fine, tight fit but ok. but on the driver side the backside of the tire rubs. i can noticeably hear it rubbing when i accelerate hard but thats it. and i can see the spot its rubbing. any suggestions? maye i can grind or beat that one spot int he fender just a tad to help out?

Is it rubbing on the inside of fender or outside?

Sounds like you need to roll the fender (if outside) a bit or take a two-and-half-pounder to a couple spots on backwall of fender like I have.... several times

on the inside, toward the differntial. i was ridin with my windows up this morning and i could hear it rubbing a lot better. only does it when i accelerate kind of hard or hit a big bump. yea i'm kinda try to beat it in just a tad see if that helps.

I have not done this on an IRS, so just make sure you are not damaging anything behind area. Should not be a prob, but just pay attention and don't hit any harder than you need to clear tires.

Ain't it a b*tch when that front end lifts up and dumps all the weight toward the back?
