Should I rebuild the old motor or go with a crate Motor?

If I remember correctly you should have a teksid block, which is plenty strong, and you will save a lot of money over buying a crate engine if you just forge it. If I was in the same position i would bore it and get some cams/springs/etc, and of course some new gaskets.

what about searching for a used 03/04 complete Cobra engine/SC?!

It's hard to take you serious with those rice doors. Rebuild your block. The B heads love boost. You can send it to MMR and have them rebuild it for much less than what a crate will cost you.

sn-95 is 94-98

sn95 was 94-04, and the new edge sn95 was the 99-04 models. they are all the sn95 platform though.

thats why the new s197 was such a big deal,because there hadnt been anything new since 94.

unless Im mistaken?

I have heard that so many times from my friends and a couple people at ford. I think you might be right.
