Flywheels
Alright here is the story. I ordered a Fidanza Forged Steel flywheel from AM. I've been waiting since New Years Eve. Just called them and they are not getting them until Feb. 9. Thinking about going with a Spec aluminum? Just looking for your opinion guys.
just depends on what ur trying to use it for.. theres pros and cons for steel and aluminum. if you wanna rip through the gears down a 1/4 mile, you may like the aluminum one better. if its just your DD and you like to monkey around on a road course, you may like the additional intertia the steel one gives you.
As for me?? i"d go aluminum.
I just had mine rebuilt, the '03's have a McLeod billet aluminum.. (came with the stock McLeod clutch), i just had it rebuilt for $125 rather than buying a brand new one... no point really.

No history or experience with one, therefore no valid opinion
and i'd hate to say something wrong, cause we all know that theres some guy on this forum who hasnt logged on in a year, but will tonight just to say he has a spec with 650hp and has had it for the last 900,000 miles or something, and i'll end up looking stupid
I can only confidently suggest McLeod
