Im looking to buy 99/01 cobra gauges off ebay for my GT. Just one question, How do they look at night? How do they light up, is everything lit up or just the numbers. Also does any body have a picture of their 99/01 cobra gauges light up at night

buy an auto mach 1 cluster, the cobra clusters redline 1k higher imo i dont like it.

 

They're green, I like them ok but I want to get the blue backlighting mod.

 

The '99s are slightly more "tealish" than the '01s.

i did the blue backlight mod its sooo sweet. i would post a pic but my camera makes them green lol it cost me 20 bucks and they are brighter and took about 20 mins to install

lol it replaces the bulbs in your dash with super white LED's our dash has blue film but the stock bulbs are like halogen yellow so the dash appears green when its on, the white makes its show blue.

The LEDs were 5 Super Bright White LED's - Socket 194/168 (sockets are the same, just different numbers) I bought my LED's from http://superbrightleds.com/mini-wedge.html (mine are the WLED-x5 Wedge Based Bulbs)

i didnt do the hvac swap, i figured it'd look wierd with stock green radio and cd player and blue a/c controls lol
