Hanging RPMs and High IDLE
Well I have owned the car for a little over a year now and all of the sudden I have a high Idle and hanging rpms. I know allot of people will say do the IAC mod but I didnt have the problem before until a few days ago. Before it worked fine idled about 850 and rpms dropped fast. Now idles at 1200 and rpms hang. I have checked for Vac leaks with a fogging of throttlebody cleaner and with a piece of house in my ear and nothing. So what else could it be? Any help would be awesome.
Thanks
jason

clean the IAC w/ carb cleaner, the remove the air inlet to the throttle body. clean around the throttle blade it can get real "gunkie"

The IAC is bad, replace it . After the car is warm Unplug it and see if it runs fine . If the idle drops and is fine, its the IAC. Cleaning has never helped any I have come across.
