1997 Mustang Cobra missing... PLEASE HELP!!!!
hey guys hopefully someone knows something that is going on...cobra had been missing... had double platinums in it which don't seem to do well at all any way. Changed them out because i thought that is what was making it miss...put ngk plugs back in it.... it is still missing on cylinders 2 AND 6...what the crap is going on??? someone told me that it could be a pressure regulator or temp sensor. Just wanted to get a second opinion. any help is greatly appreciated.

need a little more info to help you out, you need to test to see if the spark plug in those cylinders is firing correcty, secondly what ngks did you put in there deviating from a stock heat range plug or higher resistance electrode can cause problems, third your gonna have to test fuel pressure and injectors to make sure they are working. test fuel last usually its the harder of the tests

hahaha same, but def get motorcraft plugs and try changing the wires id start there for sure and change the fuel filter and get a good fuel system cleaner to run through it wouldnt hurt

obd II scan
Took car to town and had it scanned. Turns out it showed up as 2 different codes p1131 and p1443 don't think that they are related. Checked for spark and car has spark while running. Maybe a fuel problem. Went to ford yesterday and got some prices on parts.
Any advice on what to do first?

P1443=A problem with the EVAP purge flow system
Continuous Memory Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P1443 indicates an incorrect evaporative system purge control valve flow.
Possible causes:
-- Obstructed, open or cracked hoses between EVAP canister purge valve and intake manifold.
-- Damaged EVAP canister purge valve.
-- Damaged PF sensor.
P1131=Bank 1 upstream (front) O2 not switching properly showing that it thinks Bank 1 is going lean. Bank 1 may be going lean from what you say about a closed loop fuel issue.
Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) P1131 bank (1) (Cylinder #1) and P1151 bank (2) indicate the fuel/air ratio is correcting rich for an overly lean condition. The HO2S voltage is less than 0.45 volt. DTCs P1132 bank (1) (Cylinder #1) and P1152 bank (2) indicate the fuel/air ratio is correcting lean for an overly rich condition. The HO2S voltage is greater than 0.45 volt.
DTCs P1130 and P1150 indicate the fuel control system has reached maximum compensation for a lean or rich condition and the HO2S is not switching.
DTC/HO2S Reference List

-- HO2S-21 = DTCs P1151, P1152 and P1150
