So it seems that it is pretty common for the 03-04 3rd brakelight lens to crack..I was just wondering what usually causes it that way I can prevent mine from cracking as soon as I put on my cobra spoiler?

Is it just from slamming the trunk down too hard? is there anything I can do to better protect the lens? like use foam washers or whatver underneath the 2 screws which hold it down?

I prevented my Spoiler lens from breaking, by getting a Saleen Wing... lol

On a more serious note, most of the guys, that I know, that broke theirs, was from pushing the car from the rear, while in the waiting lanes at the track, with their hands on the spoiler...
