one day my car wheel hopped and the past couple times i have gotten on it it has wheel hopped. my tires are almost bald and not in good shape since they are the original tires. im not sure if the tires are the reason its doing it or if there is something wrong with it. everytime it has wheel hopped the traction control was off. if anybody has any info that would be great. i was going to try swapping the tires first!!! thanks for your time!

 

better tires will help. The only way to really cure the wheel hop is to put a solid in but changing out the bushings in the rear can help. Personally i put a SRA in my car.

 

swap out all the bushings in the IRS and get some DR's.

 

Need some drag radials....before you break an axle....

 

IRS bracket and bushings.. Steeda sells a "stop the hop" package.
It worked on mine, i just run radials.
