ok so i blew the motor in my 96 cobra so i ordered a used one from mps autosalvage got it in all hooked up and everything and it wont start the computer had a tune on it from the prev motor whish was na but cammed up and stuff i havent put the stock tune on it yet but would that keep it from starting? or what? the motor is out of an 97 cobra

i'm guessing it has something to do with your P.A.Ts system, which is the stock security system, sorry i have little knowledge of this but that would be my guess, read up on resetting it or whatever.

do you know if u can reset it with a sct tuner?

I HAVE YOUR SOLUTION!!!!!! pop the hood, open the fuse box cover on the driver side fender well, its a little black box, open it up, about the 3rd fuse down from the top is a yellow fuse with the number 20 on it, pull it out go to autozone, buy a new one, pop it in and bam...buy 2 actually one to keep in the car incase it blows again......this happened to mine, it has a fresh rebuilt motor in it, and after about 3 days of driving it she died, and wouldnt start, i took the whole steering column apart etc....to find out it was a fn 3 dollar fuse, go do that and be prepared to be amazed..i hope...goodluck

well my theft light was flashing too so i think it was that pats thing but i will definatly look into seeing if its that fuze
